Our final DESTINation before moving home for good!

After the chaos of the tornadoes that hit near our homes in both TN and AL (we were so thankful to have not been severely affected!), we headed off to Destin, Florida, for a little rest and relaxation. I wasted no time doing this, as you can see.

We stayed right on the harbor (background), and I loved looking at all of the fish, hermit crabs, restaurants and shops.

Thanks Paw and Mamaw for arranging our trip! The beaches were beautiful, as always.

Just had to give a throwback to my very first trip to Destin at around 7 weeks old. So tiny!

First Egg Hunt of the Season!

We had a great time at the Easter Egg Hunt on the lawn of the President's Mansion at Mommy's School. I was more interested in what was in the eggs rather than the amount of eggs, quality over quantity people!

I got some really good stuff!!!!!!!!!!!

In other news, I am enjoying working in the yard at the new house. Playing in dirt is fun. It takes a true southern girl to do yard work in ribbons and a skirt.

The Vi Lepore Spring 2011 Collection

This is my Easter Dress so you will see more pictures of this one soon! It is special to us because Mamaw got it for me from Mont-Saint-Michel in France when we visited there this past summer, and it is hand made.

Busy Month

Sorry that we haven't posted in over a month! We have been very busy, but I'm glad to spend the week at the new house where I have a big back porch to play on and Daddy can grill whenever he wants! I have also been spending time with all of my grandparents this week since we are very close now.

Grandma and Grandpa got me this "dodo" as a special breakfast. Chocolate dodos are my favorite. I take after my Mamaw and my Grandma, who both love chocolate donuts.

Mommy and Daddy's new bathtub makes the perfect bubble bath.

Here I am being silly, but you can really see my beautiful, curly hair in this picture. I have a stool at the sink now so that I can wash my hands whenever I need to all by myself (my favorite phrase right now!).

A-da (my version of ta-da!) they keys after we closed on the house.

I gave Mommy red velvet cupcakes on her birthday, and we shared to celebrate.

Story time!

I told my very first story to Mommy today while we were getting ready for school. Here it goes:

Jesse pull my hair....
No, no, no, no, no, Jesse...
Jesse go time out!

Mommy will never forget this story because it is my very first one! She asked Ms. Keisha about it to make sure that it wasn't made up. They can't wait to see if I have more stories to tell!

Going Vintage

My Aunt Cynthia bought this Dior dress for my Mommy when she was little. A good cleaning and a hem, and I'm just as cute the second time around.

I look good in Baby Dior!

My first trip to the Beauty Salon

Being a good girl at the salon with Paw and Mamaw

A snip off the ends of my baby hair gave my curls and extra bounce!

Mommy can't believe her bald baby girl has hair that actually needs trimmed

I did so good and there was no crying at all during my first trip to get my hair cut - thanks Paw for driving us in the snow!
