Curly Vi

Mommy just had to show off this picture of my curls! It has taken a very long time for my locks to grow, but now it seems like my hair grows more each night. Baby Vi finally has hair! Yay!

A Very "Vi" Christmas

One of my presents was this fancy dish that I can use every Christmas morning to eat in. It is hand painted and Mamaw ordered it as a special present for me to have for years to come.

My baby is really learning to do a lot thanks to me. I change her diaper, feed her, love her and she helps me sleep better at night when I need to cuddle.

Check out our new kicks!

Mamaw made this outfit for Mommy when she was little. It was just the right size for me this year. I wore it to the candlelight Christmas Eve service at church.

Christmas friends help me eat my breakfast at Mamaw and Paw's house.

Happy 60th Grandma!

This past Saturday I went to surprise my Grandma for her 60th birthday. Thank you for everything that you do for me. I love you, Grandma!

Holiday Greetings

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from our family to yours!
Mommy and Daddy didn't order enough of our Christmas cards, so we hope you are able to enjoy the picture that was included on the card here. We had this photo taken at church for the directory. I have really enjoyed this holiday season more than last year since I am able to help with things like decorating the Christmas tree, wrapping gifts, and tasting all of the yummy treats of the season.

Our Italian Bambina

At least this isn't what happened! Although I do see Daddy picking pasta off of the floor right now....

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree! I love pasta!

And it's fun to play with while I am eating!

Aunt Ashlee's new camera

Aunt Ashlee got an amazing, new camera and is surely becoming a great photographer. She sent these pictures to Mommy today who thought they were so cute that she had to share them with you. She got lots of practice documenting my Thanksgiving Day! Thank you, Aunt Ashlee!

Happy Thanksgiving 2009

Here is the family (Daddy's side) at Thanksgiving. I had a great time, but you wouldn't know it from this picture because it was right before bedtime (do you like my penguin PJs?). We are very proud of our almost unrecognizable, but still very charming, Cousin Sam in uniform (far left).

Cousin Zach got some laughs out of me with this crazy puppet. He is a great chef and made some delicious gravy and fluffy pumpkin pie.

Chillin' on Uncle Bini's old bean bag with snacks, books, my baby, blanket.... all the necessities!

Are you doing a double-take? It's Uncle Richie (above) and Grandpa (below). Most of the men in my life are bald, and they of course indulge in the head pat game that I love to play with them.

Thank you Grandpa and Grandma (and the rest of the family) for a great Thanksgiving visit. I love you very much!

It's a zoo.... at the beach!

I had so many animal encounters on my weekend trip that I couldn't decide whether or not this dog was real, or just an amazing look-alike.

I got to pet two beach cats!

Seeing more puppies and kittens at the animal adoption...

This parrot just hopped right on my stroller. He had just learned the "seagull" call that threw me off at first.

My Beachy Weekend

I went to Destin, Florida, with my family. Here I am ordering my first meal at Dewey Destin's Seafood. I had lots of new things to eat on this trip.

Here is my princess/ballerina look that Mommy came up with for Halloween. I slept through the festivities last year, but this year I got spooked by a giant, pink pig and a scary old witch!

We went to the beach on one of our nice days. I didn't like it as much as last year; Mommy thinks that the sun bothered my eyes... who knows. I really enjoyed playing in the grass at Seaside with everyone the most. There was lots of space to run and look at other kids. I did, however, take my first steps on the sand by myself with Paw.

One of the many new foods that I got to eat with Mamaw and Paw. Paw also let me drink Coca-Cola, but don't tell Mommy - shhhhhh!

Flying High

Waiting on Mamaw and Paw at the airport - there was lots of fog and I couldn't see them until moments before they landed.

Figuring out how to load all of my stuff and Daddy's golf clubs onto the plane.

Relaxing after my in-flight snack and beverage (it only took 45 minutes so I didn't have to wait very long).

Playing the "Pilot Vi" game

Hello! I am at the beach now and will post some more pictures later!

Baby Vi the Pumpkin Picker

I've never seen such a fun, colorful and beautiful fruit before, and you can even sit on it! I was very excited to visit the Pumpkin Patch today with Mommy and Daddy. They even have baby pumpkins for little people like me.

I will name her Mathilda and she shall be mine.

Enjoying the scenery with Mommy and Daddy

Where's that Muddy Pig?

This is my board of artwork that I do at school. It's very colorful and I love to look at all of the pictures. My favorite one is the "muddy pig." You can see it in the middle.

I'm still looking a lot like my Mommy, but some of these faces remind her an awful lot of Daddy.

Welcome to my World

Learning how to dangle from Daddy

A primitive method of transportation, but it beats walking when I'm feeling fatigued.

Showing the "more"symbol with my hands to let Mommy and Daddy know I'm ready to take another bite of food.

Having a ball during Fall!

Mommy and Daddy attended a wedding this past weekend in Memphis, Tennessee. Congratulations Darrell and Rachel! It is also their 2nd wedding anniversary on Tuesday, so they decided to have a weekend to themselves... Daddy had his eyes (and stomach) set on Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken, which he said was very delicious and recommends it to everyone.
I had a great weekend with Grandma and Grandpa while Mommy and Daddy were away. I have perfected the saying "uh oh" that I practiced often by throwing everything on the ground. It was the first cold weekend of the year, so Grandma and Grandpa helped keep me warm by getting me some new day-care clothes. Thank you!

This past Thursday, Mommy picked me up early from school and Daddy met us at the Fall Festival at Mommy's school. I loved running around in the open space of the gymnasium and listening to the DJ music. Avery and John Cyrus had their faces painted. Mommy and I did the cake walk but we didn't win anything.... we had better luck at the ping-pong ball toss booth.
