Spring Break

Mom's on spring break and took a break from "mommyhood" for a couple of days when she went to Wilmington, NC to visit Ms. Jenny. As you can see, she is expecting and we can't wait to find out if I will have a new little girl or boy to be my friend!

The old college pals enjoyed a great girls' weekend of pampering and eating, also enjoying the scenery in the beautiful historic downtown. Mom told me all about the battleship and their visit to the Bellamy Mansion. Thanks Ms. Jenny for a being a great host to my Mommy, she had a blast! Also, thanks to Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Bini and Dad for babysitting so that Mommy could travel.

Under the Sea!

Enjoying a warm day (finally!) with Mommy and Daddy at the Tennessee Aquarium. The attendant called me "Hollywood" because of my glasses.

Pointing at all of the interesting fish and animals. You'll notice here that I am riding in my stroller that I got for Christmas. Today was the first day that I got to wear my new backpack (aka "Mommy's leash"). It actually worked well and I was able to roam around on my own and be my independent little self.

I really loved watching the penguins jump and swim!

The first exhibit included sharks and stingrays that you could touch - wow! I probably would've jumped in if Daddy's didn't hold me back.

Be My Valentine!

I am officially over 20 pounds and got to take my new big-girl car seat out for a spin today!

mmmmm Valentine's Day breakfast with Mommy and Daddy

I couldn't get enough of Daddy's green eggs (eggs with pesto) and ham - deeeelicious!

Mommy and I dressed in matching pink and black and shared a banana and nutella crepe. After breakfast, we went to Target for me to pick out a Valentine's Day goodie. I now have a shopping cart and food to add to my kitchen set - yipee!

I had so much fun in the snow on Friday that I decided to wear my mittens and hat inside, too. Some tasks are easier than others with mittens. Thankfully, I had no trouble drinking my baba and hanging out with my babies.

Snow Day

I am enjoying my snow day today with Mommy since EVERYTHING in Alabama is cancelled today. Events like this don't happen every day around here, or even every year!

We have some accumulation - very rare...

I look just a cute as ever in my winter wear. Mommy layered me since we don't have much snowy-weather clothing.

I found a friend while I was wondering around outside. He's just about my size.

Back to Normal

I had my first case of the "stomach bug" these past couple of days but you would never know it now (and strep throat and two ear infections!). I am feeling much better and back to my normal self playing with toys from my toy box....

....reading books from my bookshelf....

.... and cooking up all kinds of things in my kitchen. I took my first bubble bath today so it was only appropriate to continue being "girly" by wearing my fluffy tutu and princess crown (and bracelet) while cooking.

Where's the Explorer?

When I got home today Daddy's Old Explorer was gone! Mommy decided that I should have my picture made with it so that when Daddy tells all of his car stories from college I will know about the vehicle that he is describing. So, here it is.... thanks to the Kidney Foundation it found a new home today.

Happy 2010 !!!

Happy New Year to ME!

I love my new kitchen and fuzzy bunny slippers! They look great in my new play room!

I woke up really early this morning so Mommy and Daddy decided to treat me to a "real nice" breakfast at Waffle House where I ate all of my raisin toast. We went downtown to see the tree at Toomer's Corner since the Tigers won the Outback Bowl - go AU!

I got to use the bath crayons that Mrs. Cathy got me for Christmas and had a blast! Mommy recommends them for other toddlers because they really do wipe off easily. I also got to meet Baby Cadden for the first time on New Year's Day (below). He is bigger than me but he is only 9 months old. He is a great crawler and will be walking very soon. My territorial toddler side came out though and I didn't share my toys with him very well - ummmm I guess that should be my New Year's resolution, sharing!
